Owen's First Airplane Ride

My blog has been very quiet lately. My crazy life has gotten the best of me for the past couple of months. We had Owen's birthday (which was the last time I posted), a couple of weekend races, Easter, tornadoes, company from out of town, Mother's Day, and a wedding to attend. It has been crazy around here! I am hoping that things will finally start to calm down and return to a somewhat normal routine. I thought that tonight would be a great opportunity for me to make a quick post just to help get me back into the swing of things.

Today my husband and I took our son on his first airplane ride. I have to admit that I was a little nervous when my husband first approached me with the idea, but I am glad i finally agreed to it. The Dalton Municipal Airport was having an open house today and they were offering rides in a Cessna airplane for $10. Here are some pictures from our experience:

Owen loved his first airplane ride! It was a fun day. Thanks to the Dalton Municipal Airport for an amazing experience! I cannot wait to go back next year!
